On that phone, send an SMS in this exact format:NIN 00000011111to 55019 or 66019
(Replace 00000011111 with your own 11-digit NIN).
Ensure:
- There is enough airtime for SMS
- The SMS is correctly typed (no extra characters, spaces only between NIN and the number)
If successful, you will receive a 10-digit profile code via SMS.
Save this profile code carefully—it will be used to buy your e-PIN and complete registration.

Important: Once generated, the profile code and biodata cannot be changed. Any error at this point requires you to fix it with NIMC before attempting again.
