Step-by-Step BUK Screening Process 2026
Follow these 6 steps in order to avoid rejection.
Step 1: Accept Admission on JAMB CAPS
You cannot screen if you haven’t accepted the admission on JAMB.
- Go to JAMB CAPS.
- Log in and click Accept Admission.
- Print your JAMB Admission Letter (You will need it).
Step 2: Log in to BUK Screening Portal
- Visit: https://mybuk2.buk.edu.ng/myScreening
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number as Username and Surname as Password (Default).
Step 3: Download Required Forms
Once logged in, download these forms:
- BUK Admission Letter
- Undertaking Form
- University Health Services Registration Form
Step 4: Pay ₦10,000 Acceptance Fee
- Generate the BUK Personalised Payment Form (BUKPPF) on the portal.
- Take it to any bank or pay online via Remita.
- Fee: ₦10,000 (Strictly non-refundable).
- Return to the portal and click “Check Payment Status” to confirm.
Step 5: Upload Documents (Crucial!)
Upload CLEAR copies in JPG format only. Max size: 1MB.
- JAMB Result Slip
- JAMB Admission Letter
- O’Level Result (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB)
- A’Level Result (Direct Entry candidates only)
WARNING: Unclear or blurred documents will be REJECTED. Crop your images well!
Step 6: Print Acknowledgement Slip
Once your documents are approved (takes 24-48 hrs), log back in and print your Acknowledgement Slip. This is your proof of clearance.
